if 'a' and 'b'are rational numbers,find the value of a and b in each of the following equations.

RATIONALISING THE DENOMINATOR.

USING IDENTITY = (a+b) (a - b) = a²- b²

√3+√2/√3-√2 X √3+√2+/√3+√2

=(√3+√2)²/(√3)² - (√2)²

NOW USING IDENTITY:

(a+b)²= a²+b²+ 2ab.

(√3)²+(√2)²+2X√3X√2/3-2

3+2+2√6

5+2√6

NOW, LHS = RHS.

5+2√6 = a+b √6

NOW √6 WILL GET CANCEL.

SO, a = 5.

b = 2.
