Answer:

Answer:Sum of the root = a+ b = - B/A = -a

Products of the root = ab = C/A = -b

a+b = -a and ab = -b

2a = -b and a = -1

b = 2 and a = -1

Hence ,

a + b = 2 - 1 = 1
