Co-ordinates of A=(-6,7)

Co-ordinates of B=(-1,-5)

According to the distance-formula,

AB = \sqrt{( x_{1} - x _{2})^{2} + {(y _{1} - y_{2})}^{2} }

 = \sqrt{( - 6 - ( - 1))^{2} + (7 - ( - 5)) ^{2} }

 = \sqrt{( - 5)^{2} + (12)^{2} }

 = \sqrt{( - 6 + 1)^{2} + (7 + 5) ^{2} }

 = \sqrt{25 + 144}

 = \sqrt{169} = 13

Therefore,
2AB= 13×2= 26 units.
