it is given that 3x^2-5x-2 is a zero polynomial
therefore by splitting the middle term we get ,
⇒3x^2+x-6x-2
⇒let we factorize this term as ,
x(3x+1)-2(3x+1)
⇒(x-2 ) and (3x+1) are the factors of this polynomial
∴as they have given zero of the polynomial we get
x-2=0
⇒x=2-----------------let we taken it as a
3x+1=0
⇒x=-1/3--------------------let we taken as b
now let we find a^3+b^3
as we know that a^3+b^3=(a+b)(a^2-ab+b^2)
∴(2-1/3)(4-2/3+1/9)
(5/3)(31/9)
⇒155/27

anuritha: a small advance like a friend is that please that as square or cubes likes x^2,x^3 where ^ symbol is used to denotes that.
