If a and b are the zeroes of the polynomial 5x2+3x+1, then find the value of a+b+ab.

Answer:

a+b+ab = -2/5

Explanation:

a+ b = - (coefficient of x)/(coefficient of x^2)

= -3/5

ab = (constant term)/(coefficient of x^2)

= 1/5

a+b+ab = -3/5 +1/5=-2/5
