Given : ∠A and ∠B are two adjacent angles of a parallelogram.  ∠A = 70°,

To Find : ∠B = ?

Solution:

∠A and ∠B are two adjacent angles of a parallelogram

Sum if measures of adjacent angles of a parallelogram = 180°

( as adjacent angles of a parallelogram are supplementary )

as they are co  interior angles

m∠A + m∠B = 180°

Substitute m∠A  = 70°

=>   70° + m∠B = 180°

=>  m∠B = 180° -    70°

=> m∠B = 110°

Measure of angle B is 110°
