 If\: A \:and\: B \:are\: two\: finite\: sets, \:then\\ n(A) + n(B) \:is \:equal\: to\\ \underline {\pink { a \: natural \:number \: (finite \: number)}}

Example :

  • Let set A = { 1,4,9,16,25}
  • n(A) = number \:of \: elements \:in \:set \:A = 5

  • Set B = { 1,3,5,7}
  • n(B) = 4
  • Now , n(A) + n(B) = 5 + 4 = 9 (Finite )
