Answer:

 \large \bold \green{ \underline{answer = }} \\   \large \bold \orange{3 \times n}

Step-by-step explanation:

 \large \bold \implies{a \: 3 \times m \:  \: and \:  \: b \: 3 \times n \:  \: are \:  \: two \:  \: matrixes} \\  \\ \large \bold \implies{if \:  \: m \:  = n \:  \: then \:  \: a \: and \: b \:  \: have \:  \: same \:  \: orders} \\  \\  \large \bold \implies{and \:  \: 3 \times n \:  \: each} \\  \\  \large \bold \implies{so \:  \:the \:  \: order \:  \: of \:  \: (5a - 2b) \:  \: same \:  \: as \:  \: 3 \times n}

Given :

  • A is in order of 3 × m
  • B is in order of 3 × n

To FinD :

  • Order of 5A - 2B

SolutioN :

Order matrix A is given as 3 × m, add order of matrix B is given as 3 × n.

And we know that while subtracting two matrices order of both should be same. It means m = n.

So, order of matrix A can we written as 3 × m and also it can we written as 3 × m and same from matrix B.

⇒We've to fine order of 5A - 2B.

Also, we know that while multiplying any matrix with a scalar, it's order is not changed. It means order of 5A - 3B should be 3 × m OR 3 × n.

But, 3 × m is not in the provided option. So, answer is 3). 3 × n
