if A and B are two odd positive integers such that a greater than B then prove that one of the two number a + b divided by 2 and a minus b divided by 2 is odd and the other is even

If both the numbers are odd then both a+b/2 and a-b/2 will be even.
Eg. Suppose a= 5 and b= 3,then 5+3/2 = 4 and 5-3/2 = 1
