we know that (A + B)^2=A^2+B^2+2AB

and (A-B)^2=A^2+B^2-2AB

we can write it as

(A-B)^2=(A+B)^2-4AB

putting the values

A+B=-b/a,AB=c/a

(A-B)^2=(-b/a)^2-4(c/a)

=b^2/a^2-4c/a

on substracting

b^2-4ac/a^2

(A-B)^2=b^2-4ac/a^2

(A-B)=√b^2-4ac/a^2

bro is it 2 in power or 2 in multiply
