 \alpha  +  \beta  =  \frac{ - b}{a} =  \frac{ - ( - p)}{1}   = p \\  \alpha  \beta  =  \frac{c}{a}  =  - (p + c) \\ ( \alpha  + 1)( \beta  + 1) \\  =  \alpha  \beta  +  \alpha  +  \beta  + 1 \\  =  - (p + c) + p + 1 \\  =  - p - c + p + 1 \\  =  - c + 1
