hi friend,

given a-b=0.9

ab*=0.36

we know that

=>(a+b)²=(a-b)²+4ab

=>(a+b)²=(0.9)²+4(0.36)

=>(a+b)²=0.81+1.44

=>(a+b)²=2.25

=>a+b=±1.5

I hope this will help u :)

a- b = 0.9
an = 0.36
so,(a-b) = a²+b²-2ab
( 0.9)²= a²+b² - 2×0.36
0.81 +0.72 = a²+b²
1.53= a²+b²
Now,(a+b)²= a²+b²+2ab
(a+b)² = 1.53+0.72
(a+b) = √2.25
hence,a+b = ±1.5
