a+b = 10 ,ab = 16
(a+b)² = 10² , (a+b)²= (a-b)²+4ab
then 10²= (a-b) ²+4*16
then 100= (a-b) ²+64
then 100-64 = (a-b) ²
then (a-b) ² = 36
(a-b) = 6
a = (10+6)/2 = 8
b = (10-6)/2 = 2
a²-ab+b²= 8²-16+2² =64-16+4 =48+4 =52
a²+ab+b²= 8²+16+2²=64+16+4 =84 ans
