Answer:

2a²=72

2b²= 32

(2a)² = 144

(2b)² = 64

Step-by-step explanation:

Given a+b = 10 ----- (1)

          a-b = 2  ------(2)

_______________

(1)+(2)=> 2a =12

=> a=6

substitute the value of a in (1)

=> 6+b =10

=> b=10-6 =4

=> b=4

next find 2a² = 2(6)² = 2x36 =72

               2b² = 2(4)² = 2x16 = 32

if the question is (2a)² = (2x6)² = 12² = 144

                            (2b)² = (2x4)² = 8² =64

Answer:

a+b=10

b=10-a (1)

a-b=2

a-(10-a)=2

a-10+a=2

2a=12

a=6

b=10-a

b=10-6

b=4

(2a)^2

(2×6)^2

144

(2b)^2

(2×4)^2

64
