We know that (a-b)²=a²+b²-2ab
given, a²+ab+b²
we can write , a²+b²-2ab+3ab
So it becomes, (a-b)²+3ab
                       =12²+3×14                           [ given a-b=12 and ab=14]
                       =144+42
                       =186
Hope it helps.
