because here a and b are 7 and 5 so 7^3 + 5^3

GIVEN

a + b = 12 and ab = 35

TO DETERMINE

The value of

 \sf{ {a}^{3} +  {b}^{3}  }

EVALUATION

Here it is given that a + b = 12 and ab = 35

Now

 \sf{ {a}^{3} +  {b}^{3}  }

 \sf{ =  {(a + b)}^{3}  - 3ab(a + b)}

 \sf{ =  {(12)}^{3}  - 3 \times 35 \times 12}

= 1728 - 1260

= 468
