here is your answer !!

( a - b ) ² = a² + b² - 2 × a × b

=> ( 12 )² = a² + b² - 2 × 14

144 + 28 = a² + b²

=> 172

now , ab = 14

now ,

a² + b² + ab => 172 + 14

=> 186

hope it helps you dear !!

thanks

HELLO DEAR,

GIVEN THAT:-

a - b = 12 ---------( 1 ),

ab = 14

Now,

From-----( 1 )

(a - b)² = 12²

a² + b² - 2ab = 144

[a² + b² - 2(14)] = 144

(a² + b²) = 144 + 28

(a² + b²) = 172
∴ [ adding "(ab)" both side]

(a² + b² + ab) = 172 + ab

(a² + b² + ab) = 172 + 14

(a² + b² + ab) = 186

I HOPE ITS HELP YOU DEAR,
THANKS
