the value of b is -300 and value of a is 480
take a+b=180 as 1
take 2a+3b=60 as 2
multiply equation 1 by 2 we get
2a+2b=360 take it as 3
now
subtracting equation 2 by 3
after Subtracting a variable will cancelled
we get new equation as
-b=300
:b=-300
put value of b in any equation
u get a value as 480
a= 480 b= - 300

Hey
Here's your answer !!

_______

a + b = 180 ----- ( 1 )
2a + 3b = 60 ----- ( 2 )

Multiplying eq. ( 1 ) with 2 and eq. ( 2 ) with 1 , we get ,

2a + 2b = 360
2a + 3b = 60 .

substracting ( 1 ) from ( 2 ) , we get ,
b = -300 .
So , a = 480 .

_______

Hope it helps !!
