i found in a videos that for common therm add them eg.
a:b:c= (2+4):3:5 = 6:3:5 ; is it correct??? i understand ur solution and i too agree with it..but plz explain

a/b=2×4/3×4
=8/12
a/c=4×2/5×2
=8/10
a:b:c=8:12:10
=4:6:5**
=8/12
a/c=4×2/5×2
=8/10
a:b:c=8:12:10
=4:6:5**
