Question:-

If a:b=2:3 and b:c=1:2,

then find the ratio of,

a:b:c

ANSWER:-

2:3:6

or

2/3 : 1 : 2

Solution:-

Let, a/b = 2x/3x

and b/x=x/2x

Here,

x is the unknown variable/constant which we dont know about !!

So,

a= 2bx/3x (transposing)

b === b itself let it be a central value.

also,

c= 2bx/x

So, equating it in one equation we get,

2/3b:b:2b

=> 2/3:1:2 (Cancelling b as common)

Mulitpling by three to all the terms.

we get,

=> 2:3:6
