Answer:

(a-b)² = 4

=> a² + b² - 2ab = 4

=> a² + b² -2(3) = 4

=> a² + b² -6 = 4

=> a² + b² = 4+6

=> a² + b² = 10

Answer:

given :

( a - b )² = 4

ab = 3

( a - b )² = a² + b² - 2ab

4 = a² + b² - 2ab

4 + 2ab = a² + b²

4 + 2(3) = a² + b²

10 = a² + b²
