I could solve this if that is (5a+3b)/(5a-3b)

given that

a/b=2/5. then,

b=5a/2. ----------1

then (5a+3b)/(5a-2b)

would be (5a+(3)

Answer:

\frac{5a+3b}{5a-3b}=-5

Step-by-step explanation:

Given, \frac{a}{b}=\frac{2}{5}

Now, dividing the numerator and the denominator of given question with 'b'.

\frac{\frac{5a+3b}{b} }{\frac{5a-3b}{b} } = \frac{(5\frac{a}{b}+3\frac{b}{b})  }{(5\frac{a}{b}-3\frac{b}{b})}

by simplifying the above we get,

\frac{(5\frac{a}{b}+3 )}{(5\frac{a}{b}-3) }

Now, substituting \frac{a}{b}=\frac{2}{5}  we get

\frac{(5*\frac{2}{5} )+3}{(5*\frac{2}{5})-3 }= \frac{2+3}{2-3}= -5
