Answer:

a : c = 3 : 4

There fore, 4a = 3c ……………………….. A

b : c = 6 : 7

Therefore, 7b = 6c ………………………..B

By multiplying both sides of A by 2, we get 8a = 6c.

Substituting this in B, we get 7b = 8a.

LCM of 7 & 8 is 56.

Therefore, a=7 & b=8 ( 7 x 8 = 8 x 7)

Substituting the value of a in A, we get the value of c.

4 x 7 = 3c.

therefore, c = 28/3.

Thus, the answer is, a : c = 7 : 28/3
