a+b=2

a-b=10=>>. a=b+10

a+b=10

b+10+b=2

2b+10=2 so 2b=2-10=-8

so b=-4

a=b+10 so a=-4+10=6

a^2+b^2=(6)^2 +(-4)^2=36+16=52

ab=(6)(-4)=(-24)
