The value of. A = 6,

And. B = -4,

Therefore,

(a^2+b^2) = (6^2 + -4^2)

= (12 - 8)

= (4)

HOPE IT WILL BE HELPFUL TO U:-)

richasharma01: pls correct your answer instead of taking square you multiplied by 2

another approach

not very different

(a+b)=2,(a-b)=10

(a+b)^2=4

(a-b)^2=100

(a+b)^2+(a-b)^2=2(a^2+b^2)

4+100=2(a^2+b^2)

104=2(a^2+b^2)

a^2+b^2=52

now (a+b)^2-(a-b)^2=4ab

4-100=4ab

-96=4ab

ab=-24
