a+b = 2
squaring both sides
(a+b) ² = (2)²
a²+b²+ 2ab = 4
Put the value of a²+ b² which is given in the question ....
8+2ab = 4
2ab = -4
ab = -4 /2
ab = -2
Now , open the identity of a³+ b³ and put these values .....

a+b=2

a^2+b^2+2ab=4

2ab=-4

ab=-2

a^3+b^3=(a+b)(a^2-ab+b^2)

=2(8-(-2)

=2×16

=32
