squaring both sides
(a+b) ² = (2)²
a²+b²+ 2ab = 4
Put the value of a²+ b² which is given in the question ....
8+2ab = 4
2ab = -4
ab = -4 /2
ab = -2
Now , open the identity of a³+ b³ and put these values .....

=2(8-(-2)
=2×16
=32
a^2+b^2+2ab=4
