A : B = 3 : 4

By Cross Multiplication method , we have

A / B = 3/ 4

4A = 3B

B = 4A/3

Putting the value of B in ,

B : C = 16 : 27

4A / 3 / C / 1 = 16 / 27

4A / 3 × 1/C = 16 / 27

4A / 3C = 16 / 27

A / C = 16 × 3 / 27 × 4

A/ C = 4/9

A : C = 4 : 9
