Answer :

  • A:B:C:D=21:28:98:245

Step-by-step explanation :

Given,

A:B=3:4

A=3x,B=4x

B:C=5:7

B=5x,C=7x

Now in above two ratios in first B has 4x value and in second B has 5x value. Take LCM of 4x, 5x. You have 20x.

To make the value of B in first ratio to 20x . Multiply first ratio with 5x and in other ratio with 4x.

You have,

A:B=15x:20x

and B:C=20x:28x

On combining these two,

A:B:C=15x:20x:28x

Now,

C:D=2:5

C=2x,D=5x

Now in above two ratios in first C has 28x value and in second C has 2x value. Take LCM of 28x, 2x. You have 28x.

To make the value of C in first ratio to 28x . Multiply first ratio with 3x and in other ratio with 7x.

A:B:C=45x:60x:28x

C:D=14x:35x

On combining these two,

A:B:C:D=630x:840x:392x:980x

If eliminate x.

We have A:B:C:D=21:28:98:245
