Hi friend
--------------
Your answer
---------------------

Given that : - (a - b) = 3 and (a² + b²) = 29

Then,
----------

ab = ?

Now,
---------

(a - b)² = a² - 2ab + b²

=> (3)² = (a² + b²) - 2ab

=> 9 = 29 - 2ab

=> 9 - 29 = - 2ab

=> - 20 = - 2ab

=> 2ab = 20

=> ab = 20/2

=> ab = 10

Therefore,
-----------------

Answer => option a.10

(a-b)= a2-2ab+b2
(3)2 = 29-2ab
9=29-2ab
2ab=29-9=20
2ab=20
ab=10
it is option a
