on adding both the equations
a+b=6 and
a-b=4
2a=10
a=5
b=1
then a^2+b^2
5^2+1^2 = 25+1=26
also
ab=5*1=5
a+b=6 and
a-b=4
2a=10
a=5
b=1
then a^2+b^2
5^2+1^2 = 25+1=26
also
ab=5*1=5

If a-b=4 and a+b=6 then
a=5 and b is equal to 1
then
a to the power 2 plus b to the power 2 is equal to 25 plus 1= 26
2)a multiplied to b is equal to 5
a=5 and b is equal to 1
then
a to the power 2 plus b to the power 2 is equal to 25 plus 1= 26
2)a multiplied to b is equal to 5
