Given :

a:b = 5:2

To find:

(3a + 2b) : (3a - 2b)

Solution:

Let, a = 5x and b = 2x

Then,

(3a + 2b) : (3a - 2b)

= (3 * 5x + 2 * 2x) : (3 * 5x - 2 * 2x)

= 19x : 11x

= 19:11

Therefore, (3a + 2b) : (3a - 2b) = 19:11.

Hence, the required answer is 19:11.
