Answer :-

  • \sf \frac{a+b}{a-b} = 4

Explanation :-

  • \sf \frac{a}{b} = \frac{5}{3} \\

  • \sf a = \frac{5b}{3} \\

Now we can put value of a in eq.

 \sf \longrightarrow \frac{a+b}{a-b} \\ \\

 \sf \longrightarrow \frac{\frac{5b}{3}+b}{\frac{5b}{3}-b} \\ \\

 \sf \longrightarrow \frac{ \frac{5b + 3b}{3} }{ \frac{5b - 3b}{3} } \\ \\

 \sf \longrightarrow \frac{ \frac{5b + 3b}{\cancel3} }{ \frac{5b - 3b}{\cancel3} } \\ \\

 \sf \longrightarrow \frac{5b + 3b}{5b - 3b} \\ \\

 \sf \longrightarrow \frac{8b}{2b} \\ \\

 \sf \longrightarrow \frac{\cancel{8b}^{\: \: 4}}{\cancel{2b}} \\ \\

 \sf \longrightarrow 4 \\
