It's given that a+b=5 and a-b=1
Adding the two equations, we get 2a=6 or a=3
Substituting the value of a=3 in a+b=5 , the value of b=5-a or b=5-3=2
Hence a=3 and b=2
Substituting these values in 8ab(a²-b²)
8x3x2(3²-2²)=48(9+4)=48(13)=624
Hence proved
