Answer:

a - b = 5

a + b = 7

2a = 12

a = 12 /2

a = 6

a - b = 5

6 - b = 5

-b = 5 - 6

-b = -1

b = 1

1) A2 + b2

= (6) 2 + ( 1) 2

= 36 + 1

= 37

2) ab

6 × 1

= 1

Answer:

a+b=7-----(i)

a-b=5-----(ii)

Pie through the removal method,

a+b=7

a-b=5

Add,2a=12(b plus and minus cancel out)

.:a=6

By putting value of a=6

6+b=7

.:b=1

(i)+=36+1=37

(ii)ab=6×1=6

This is your answer.
