Let's use the formula=(a+b) ²

==>a ²+b ²=(a+b) ²-2ab

==>Given a+b=5 and ab=6

so a ²+b ²=25-12

==>a ²+b ²=13

Now:-

(a-b)²=a²+b²-2ab

(a-b)²=13-2(6)

(a-b)²==13-12

(a-b)²=1

a-b=√1

so a-b=1
