Answer :

Given that,

a/b = 7/3

Now, multiplying the numerator by 7 and denominator by 9, we get

7a/9b = 49/27 ...(i)

Now, we use the formula

a/b = c/d

or, ( a + b )/( a - b ) = ( c + d )/( c - d )

From (i), we get

( 7a + 9b )/( 7a - 9b ) = ( 49 + 27 )/( 49 - 27 )

or, ( 7a + 9b )/( 7a - 9b ) = 76/22

or, ( 7a + 9b )/( 7a - 9b ) = 38/11

Hope it helps! (:
