hey mate :-

given here

a-b= 7

ab = 9

find here

a²+b²=?

we know that,

x²+y²=(x-y)²+2xy

so,

a²+b²=(a-b)²-+ab

put value by (1) and (2),

we get

a²+b2=(7)²+2×9

= 49 +18

= 67

i hopes its helps y
