Squaring on both side
So
(A-B)^2=7^2
A^2+B^2-2ab=49
A^2+b^2=49+2*9
A^2+b^2=67

a-b=7
squaring both the sides
(a-b)^2=7^2
a^2+b^2-2ab=49
putting ab=9 we get,
a^2+b^2-2(9)=49
a^2+b^2-18=49
a^2+b^2=49+18
a^2+b^2=67
squaring both the sides
(a-b)^2=7^2
a^2+b^2-2ab=49
putting ab=9 we get,
a^2+b^2-2(9)=49
a^2+b^2-18=49
a^2+b^2=49+18
a^2+b^2=67
