if a+b = 9, ab = -22, then a-b = ?​

81 = a2 + b2 - 44

81 + 44 = a2 + b2

Putting value of a2 + b2,

(a - b)^2 = 125 - 2×(-22)

(a - b)^2 = 125 + 44

(a - b)^2 = 169

a - b = √169
