( a- b) sq. = 81

a sq. + b sq. - 2ab = 81

a sq. + b sq. + 2ab= 81 + 4 × 36 = 81 + 144

a sq. + b sq. + 2ab= 225

(a + b)sq. = 15 sq.

i) a + b = 15

ii) (a-b)(a+b) = 9 × 15 = 135

a sq. + b sq. = 135
