Given :  a+b/a-b=4/3

To Find : a/b=?

Solution:

a+b / a-b = 4/3

cross multiply

=>  3a + 3b  = 4a  - 4b

=> 7b  = a

=> 7 = a/b

=> a/b  = 7

another method

Let say  a/b = k

=> a = bk

a+b/a-b=4/3

=> (bk + b) /(bk - b)  = 4/3

=> ( k + 1)/ ( k - 1)  = 4/3

=> 3 k + 3 = 4k - 4

=> k  = 7
