Step-by-step explanation:

Given:-

a+b/a-b=4/3

To find:-

Find the value of a/b ?

Solution:-

Given that

a+b/a-b=4/3

On applying cross multiplication then

3(a+b) = 4(a-b)

=>3a + 3b = 4a - 4b

=> 3b + 4b = 4a - 3a

=> 7 b = a

=> a = 7 b

=> a/b = 7

Answer:-

The value of a/b for the given problem is 7

Given :  a+b/a-b=4/3

To Find : a/b=?

Solution:

Let say

a/b  =   x

adding 1 both sides

a/b + 1  =  x + 1

=> (a + b) /b   =  x + 1    Eq1

a/b  =   x

subtracting 1 from both sides

=> a/b - 1  = x

=> (a - b) / b  = x - 1    Eq2

Eq1 / Eq2

=> (a + b ) / ( a - b)  = (x  + 1)/(x - 1)

=>  4/3  =  (x  + 1)/(x - 1)

=> 4x - 4  = 3x  + 3

=> x  = 7

a/b   = 7

another method

Let say  a/b = k

=> a = bk

a+b/a-b=4/3

=> (bk + b) /(bk - b)  = 4/3

=> ( k + 1)/ ( k - 1)  = 4/3

=> 3 k + 3 = 4k - 4

=> k  = 7
