a#b = ab-a-b now we will find 5#2 = 5x2 -5-2= 10-7=3 now put this value in 4#(5#2)we get 4#3 now a=4 and b= 3 apply the given formula 4#3 = 4x3 -4-3= 12 -7 = 5 answer

4#(5#2) = 4#(5*2-5+2) = 4#7= 4*7- 4+7 = 31
