When the three sides of a triangle are different , i.e. , a , b and c ,

then , according to Heron's formula , it can be calculated as :--

Area = { s ( s - a ) ( s - b ) ( s - c ) } ^ 1/2

where ,
s = ( a + b + c ) / 2
