A’s investment = 126,000; B’s = 84,000 and C’s = 210,000.
Profit = 242,000.
Now all their investments are divisible by 42,000. In that case, the ratio of A:B:C = 3:2:5.
Hence in case of share also ratio should be same. For this we have to divide 242,000 by 3+2+5 = 24,200.
Hence each’s share is:-
A = 3*24,200 = 72, 600.
B = 2*24,200 = 48,400.
C = 5*24,200 = 121,000.
