Answer:

the given polynomial is: x^2-x+1.

also we know that,

sum of zeros of a polynomial;

a+b=-(coefficient of x)/(coefficient of x2)

a+b=-(-1)/1=1

a+b=1.

also,

product of zeros;

ab=(constant term)/(coefficient of x^2)

ab=1/1=1

ab=1.

now, we know that,

a2+b2=(a+b)^2-2ab

= (1^2)-(2×1)

=1-2

=-1

I hope it would help you

thank you
