Step-by-step explanation:

2y² + 7y + 5 = 0

Here a = 2 , b = 7 , c = 5

α,β are 2 zeroes

So sum of the zeroes = α + β

                                    = - b/ca

                                     = -7/2

Product of zeroes = αβ

                              =  c/a

                               = 5/2

Now just put the values

α + β + αβ

= ( α + β) + αβ

= -7/2 + 5/2

= -2/2

= -1

So required answer is -1
