40
as (a+b+c)^2 = a^2 + b^2 + c^2 + 2(ab+BC+CA)
144= 64 + 2(ab+BC+CA)
ab+BC+CA =40

Given a+b+c=12
a^2+b^2+c^2=64
Then ab+bc+ca=?
a+b+c=12
Squaring on both sides
(a+b+c)^2=(12)^2
a^2+b^2+c^2+2(ab+bc+ca)=144
64+2 (ab+bc+ca)=144
2(ab+bc+ca)=80
ab+bc+ca=40

Hope it helps!!
