If A-B-C and (AC) = 9.2, (BC) = 4.5, then find (AB).​

Since, points A, B and C are collinear, therefore,

AC = AB + BC.

=> 9.2 = AB + 4.5

=> AB = 9.2 - 4.5

=> AB = 4.7 units.

NOTE : -

If C is in between A and B, then,

AB = AC + CB

=> AB = 9.2 + 4.5

=> AB = 13.7 Units
