a-b/b-c = (a-b) × 1/(b-c)

ANSWER:

A b & c are in AP

let b be p

so

a = p - d

c = p + d.

a - b/ b - c = p-d - p / p -(p+d)

= -d / p -p - d

= -d / -d

= 1.
